Sessions and Fees

Sunny Hill Nursery aims to provide exceptional early years education to children.  We have created an appealing, safe and inspiring environment inside and out for your child to explore, create, imagine and learn.  We offer parents and families the very best service we can, using our extensive knowledge and experience in Early Years.  

Fees are charged for booked sessions, not on attendance, a term in advance.  Fees are not refunded for sickness, holidays or adverse weather conditions. Sunny Hill Nursery is closed on public holidays and these days are not charged.  One full terms written notice must be given to withdraw or change any sessions and changes are subject to availability.

Children aged 2-3 yrs can start in Daisy Class with a recommended minimum of 2 sessions a week, on different days. This allows children enough opportunities to build relationships with staff and other children. We believe it also helps them settle in quicker. Once a child starts to receive their Universal funding, we recommend a minimum of 2 full days. Additional occasional sessions may be requested, space permitting. These sessions are booked by completing an Additional Session Form and will be billed in arrears.

Early Years Funding Entitlement only covers hours attended the delivery of the EYFS. It does not cover consumables, snacks, meals, specialist teaching and forest school. Please refer to admissions policy for further information about early years funding.

Late Collection

Maintaining staff ratios is a statutory requirement for Sunny Hill Nursery and depends on the number of children in the setting at any one time. Staff who could otherwise finish work, have to stay with your child if you are late to collect them. If your child is collected more than 10 minutes later form the end of their booked session there is a late collection charge of £10 per 10 minutes.
